1-MacArthur's & Brig Gen. Carl Seals families in P.I. (& MacA's 4-yr. old son) @ Seals & wife attempt at escape to Australia by air plane.
2-Withdrawal from Manila to Corregidor 12/24/41 - (Gas explosions)
3-Hospital Corregidor {Malinta Tunnel} of USAFFE-Corregidor, 12/26/41
4-Bataan - Advance Hq. USAFFE & Luzon Force 2/14/42-4/9/42.
Jungle-Monkeys-Congestion-Shortage of food
5-Surrender of Bataan 4/9/42 - after attack of 4/3-4/8 route.
Williams & Hurt taking white flag to Nips - 3:00 AM, 4/9/42.
6. Capt. O'Chai - Tank Comd'r - arrival at our Hq 4/8/42 - P.M.
Speech by Nip General interpreted in English & Tagalog.
7-Trip to Camp O'Donnel 4/10-4/11/42: Escape from looting etc; Inspections & shake-downs; Amer civilian family, 2 small children. Shell oil employees.

8-Escape (desertion) of Amer. off & men by boat - captured Indo-China. Attempt at escape by Wood (with Seals in airplane) and of Worthington (Vet. Corps) by boat to Mindanao; Worthing & group of about 40 P.O.W.s on war vessel & beside trench on land with hands tied with wire behind backs and around necks made to bend over while Nips paraded swords or rifles as if to execute group (Nip. woman (on land) in Nip. Army uniform told W. not to worry "They won't hurt you. You are a P.W.!

9. Mitchell & Tarkingtons experiences in Mindanao. Mitchell saw two Amers. - one officer - and 5 Philippines shot on march on 7/4/42 for straggling from exhaustion through jungle march.
(b) These two officers in rooms 6' x 12' each with seven Philips. for 35 days at Ft Santiago on rice & small amt. of vegetables.

10. Arrival of P.W.s at O'Donnell; living conditions, food etc.
11. Life at Karenko - food, treatment from 8/17/42 - June 7, '43.
12-Life & treatment - farm, lake, benjo sanitation - food at Shira-Kawa, 6/8/43-Oct.9, 44.
13-Train travel Kerenko to Shira Kawa & later to boat for Asia.
14. 18 1/2 days - at 1/4 steerage on Orinoko Maru to Japan.
Bombing on Oct 12th & Friday, 13th (Oct.). Breaking of mirror during bombing on Oct. 13th - doubly unlucky remarks?
15-13 days at 4th cl. Nip hotel at Beppu; food.
16-Travel to Korea & through Korea to Manchukuo; 3 days & nights on train, 4 off to section. Sleep in seats & isles.
17-Menzie's marriage to nurse & honeymoon as a P.W.

18-The bewhiskered officers: Ted Sledge; Aldrich; Brawner-Sledges 6-inch queue; Stansell's beard.
19-Kerenko: meals dealt out, by two Maj. Generals and one Brig one day. Roster on scraping rice and soup buckets after serving in our room.
