Dear Mother, Daddy, and Sandy
I will try to write on Tuesday and Saturday if that is all right. The work is really going strong and there isn’t much to write about.
I just passed the trig test that’s all. I don’t get a grade or hour credits, so I will have to take something in place later to get enough hours, but that will be all right though. I am glad I don’t have to sit through the course. Analyt. G. [Analytic Geometry] is an interesting subject.
I got my gold stars yesterday. They look nice.
I am trying to squeeze time to write Christmas letters. I have written 2 (Aunt Lee’s and Mama’s.) I will write some more today.
I saw “3 Daring Daughters” the movie, here Sunday afternoon.
[Page 2]
I got the six dollars this morning. I betcha the backyard looks different now.
I am returning my grades and a stamp I used on the wrong letter. Steam it off and use it.
I had a 114 word vocabulary test today and it was very hard. It does not count on our grade, but was just to see how much you improve in vocabulary this quarter. We are going to study this quarter a workbook called “Concerning Words” so you know what we will learn.
Well, I guess that’s all. Better get ready to eat.
With lots of love,
Jimmy
P.S. How is Gray and Buss doing in basketball?
