Dear son,
Just time for a few lines. Will enclose $20.00 for your trip home, in this letter. Please use what you only need to, as it will be a long cold trip for us to the end of the month pay checks. Was good to hear that you had a good time in Atlanta. What did Ted Strauss have to say? I know that he’ll be here for Thanksgiving, so you’ll get to see him then. Right after I’ve pick [sic] you up at the Airport next Wednesday, we’ll stop & get our hunting licenses. Traffic maybe bad that night so just hang in there till we get there.
Take care & see you soon.
Love,
Mom & Dad.
