Dearest “Boobie”

Things seem brighter to me today mainly because I had two airmail letters from you. They were the first ones in three weeks and you can imagine how glad I was to get them. Didn’t want to tell you but this thing of not hearing was just about to get me down. Feel better now even though the letters were written March 17th & 24th. It takes an awful long time for the mail to get here anymore, but it’s better than no letters at all. Thanks for the pictures. I love them and you. You’re looking well except for the haircut and I don’t even object to that as long as you say its [sic] comfortable. Had a look at the background in the pictures and can imagine how things are.

Don’t imagine you have as much spare time on your hands as you say and suppose you stay on the move. If not, why would you be sending your foot-locker home? I’m just trying to read between the lines because I know you can’t tell me very much - But please, if it’s possible, write me as often as you can if it’s no more than to say that you’re well & alright. I worry about things like that - Hope you’ve received some mail by now. If you haven’t I can certainly sympathize with you -

I went to the B.Y.P.U. and Church tonight with three of the girls at the Shandon Baptist Church. Enjoyed it very much and expect to go often. One of the girls was Margeret Robinson.

Mother Nelson called me tonight to say that they had had two letters from you. We all feel better & hope they continue to come in.

Take care of yourself for me. I love you with all my heart.

All my love,
“Lib”

P.S. I’m still writing every day & will continue to do so.
