My Darling,
I don’t know what to say but that I have an empty, lonely and “let down” feeling because I haven’t heard from you in six days now - That’s an awfully long time to me, but I know that you’d write if you could. There might be some delay in the mail somewhere. The girls laugh at me for worrying so about six days because sometimes they don’t hear for weeks. Suppose I am lucky to hear as often as I do. Still trying to keep my chin up, Daddy Nelson called me this afternoon to see if I’d heard from you. I’ve had a letter since he has. He says that they’re well.
We have a Margaret Robinson from North who’s working here now. She
[Page 2]
says that you and her brother are friends. It’s nice to have someone to talk to about you, someone who knows you. You’re my main interest you know.
Don’t have any news yet, but it is nice to be on day duty once again. Went to movie this afternoon with one of the girls. We saw “Bring on the Girls.” It was real cute, but now I’m late and have to get up early in the morning for duty.
Good-night my Sweet. I’ll dream of you - Take care of yourself for me.
All my love,
“Lib”
