Dear Sir:
I enclose a check $44.09 for the amount due for my two sons. Kindly forward receipt. While regretting that my sons were involved in the trouble at the Citadel, I unhesitatingly condemn the actions of those in

authority in engaging policemen, and consider it an indignity and humiliation to the ladies and gentlemen of South Carolina who had entrusted their children to their influence and training, and in justice to them trust the Board of Visitors will look deeper into the matter, and investigate the other side.
