[Handwritten letter on lined notebook paper torn out from book]

Sunday Morning

Mom - how about you and Sarah fixing me a nice box of food and sending it to me. It certainly would be appreciated by me and all my friends. Just send it any time but within the next [illegible deletion] week - thanks.

I had two test this last Thursday. One in Trig and one in Chemistry. I think that I passed both of them. This afternoon I have to make an English outline and am praying that it will be O.K.

Pop - are you now sending me 5 bucks every Monday?

Well better close now.

Love,
Son

PS. Tell Sarah to stop fussing - Something I forgot to tell you -

We are going to get a new Col. as commandant. He is Col. J. P. Hill of Walterboro. He is supposed to
