Dearest “Boobie”,
Today has been spent very pleasantly - I slept from 830 to 500. Not bad at all, but I was really exhausted and sleepy when I came off duty this morning. Had three patients who were critically ill so you might know how they kept me running besides all the others. That’s one way to pass away the time tho and I don’t mind a bit.
After getting up this afternoon, I dressed and went down to the dinning [sic] room. Didn’t feel much like eating the things that we had for supper after sleeping all day, but ate anyway and then went to the movies at the hospital with some of the girls. It is time to go on duty again now almost. Can’t say that I accomplish very much while on this night duty, but have to serve my term just as the others do.
Still haven’t received any mail

from you, but had a letter from “Kat” Fallow - Still hers could never take the place of yours but I was glad to hear from her. She’s working in Batesburg now and living at home. Said that she’d heard from Hazel and Lillian recently. Suppose that I should write them all more often than I do, but can’t seem to get around to it.
Hope that you are well and please take care of yourself for me. I love you more than you know.
All my love,
“Lib”
