My Darling,
I’m so tired tonight ‘till I don’t feel like doing anything but going to bed. I’ve just gotten off duty and had a fairly busy day too. Some very sick patients. Thought I should try to write something tonight. I’m planning on getting up early in the morning and going home as I have the day off. Thought Mama could meet me down here this week, but I would have to have Monday off and couldn’t let her know in time. Think that Mother Nelson will be able to go up with me next week. I hope so -
We’ve had some beautiful weather here for the past week and it’s been warm enough to go swimming but I haven’t gone yet. No time for that. The temperature runs from 90°-92°
[Page 2]
Don’t you think that’s very unusual for March? Wish you could see the beautiful flowers and green grass growing around here. They’re lovely. No need for me to say that I wish you were home with me. I always wish that.
Haven’t received any mail from you in two days now, but I remember what you told me and try not to worry - Everything is well with me except that I’m tired for the time being, so don’t you worry -
I miss you more and more and love you with all my heart.
All my love,
“Lib”
