Dearest “Lib”,

Rain, rain when will it go away. The only time that I like it is when I sleep which I [sic] been getting my share. When everything is dull all we can do is sit around or sleep. Have been playing a new game cribbage, at least it’s a new game for me. It does fairly well for a change.

Just got back from seeing the picture show. Its title “Destroyer” and was fairly good. Last night Randolph Scott, the movie actor was here. Looked just like he did on the screen.

Suppose you are still in Ridgeway. Guess Ed Tidwell’s folks keep you informed on the happenings over there. When have you seen my folks last.

Hope everyone is well and that you have now heard from your brother.Love to your mother

All my love,
Manning.
