Col Ashbury Coward

Dear Sir
I say by yesterdays paper that my class could be reinstated on application for same. You know my situation. I was a beneficiary and as a poor boy, had no father to advise me in the matter, and none to advise me now. I thought I was doing right in what I did but I see my mistake. I am not guilty of all the charges but I am of

some. I am sorry to say now Col. do you think that I can be reinstated if you do please write me how and by what way must I go at it. You know that I have always done me duty in your school and I have a good record in your school but I made the mistake of my life. I feel confident that you will do all you can for me. Please write me at earliest convenience.

Yours very respectfully
Jas. R. Westmoreland
