Dear Sir: I wish to commend the action of your Faculty & Trustees in the cases of the 64 students. The absence of these students may be a temporary loss to the Citadel but I believe you will have not only have an increase in attendance from now on but I believe the Citadel will have the more hearty support of the people & The Legislature in the future.
[Page 2]
The stand so nobly taken at your institution will help to strengthen the discipline of every other educational institution in the State.
With best regards & wishes, I remain
Yours very sincerely,
L. M. Dunton
