Dear Daddy, Mother, and Sandy,

I had a good time last night in town with Bob and Jimmy Knox from Charlotte. Jimmy is in the Presbyterian Club. We saw “Brimstone.” It was fairly good.

This morning we had church at 9:00 A.M. It was impressive and the speaker was very good. After chapel I stayed here and marked my uniform and I slept about 3 hours. I ate here and went to town and bought a magazine.

The upperclassmen came into day. They say its [sic] going to be four times as rough, now.

I might as well finish and go to bed.

Lots of love,
Jimmy
