Kerosene lamp with shade, 1905

This collection features photographs of select artifacts from The Citadel Museum, which represents the history of The Military College of South Carolina from its founding in 1842 to the present.

This is a chrome plated kerosene wick lamp with a milk glass shade. These lamps were used at The Citadel, as illustrated in this photograph from ca. 1900 of the Lamp Squad.
