Señor:

Tengo el gusto de incluirle un giro postal por $14.00 Currency, que segun carta que he recibido de mi hermano Francisco Alba debo enviar á Vd. por pago de la ropa extraordinaria de verano que se ha comprado mi referido hermano.

Le ruego me mande á decir en qué condiciones puede quedarse mi dicho hermano en esa Academia durante las próximas vacaciones, pues yó no deseo que regrese á esta Isla, hasta que no termine sus estudios.

I have the pleasure of including a money order of $14.00 Currency, which according to a letter I received from my brother Francisco Alba I can send to you for repayment of the summer clothes you had bought for this brother I refer to.

I request that you tell me if the conditions may be that my stated brother remains at the Academy during the coming vacations, since I do not want him to return to this Island until he has finished his studies.
