Marksmanship Medal, 1938

Description

This silver marksmanship medal is an octagonal shape and is embossed with "The Citadel" and a laurel wreath. In the center is a raised rectangle with the words "Valor" and "Virtue" and other symbols. The medal is suspended from a top bar that is embossed with crossed rifles and a bullseye. The reverse of the medal is engraved with "O. L. Rogers." Orville Rogers was a member of the Class of 1938.
