Somewhere in the Philippines

My darling,

Another day spent and one day closer to our reunion. Sure do miss you more and more as the days pass. Hope you are staying just as I left you. Know that you are the same.

Sure am sleeping quite a bit around here. Don’t seem to get enough sleep. Can hardly stay awake during the picture show. We had “Sunday diner for a Soldier” last night which is a fairly new show. Thought it rather amusing.

Do you ever see James Fort and his bride around? Suppose she is an expectant mother by now or has she changed her mind? Has Beverely gone into the army yet? Guess she is hearing from Sam regularly. Sure wish I could have seen him on my trip. I was so close and yet so far from him

All my love,
“Boobie”
