Description
Oliver J. Bond writes to Orlando Sheppard, Chairman of The Citadel's Board of Visitors with an update on the Spanish Influenza at The Citadel. Bond writes that the school's hospital facilities were exhausted, and the healthy cadets had been furloughed upon the advice of The Citadel's Surgeon, Dr. Cathcart. He writes that they had over fifty cases of the disease, and that one cadet, Cudworth, had died.
