Description
Mrs. Louise B. Dufour came to The Citadel in 1925 as wife of Modern Languages Professor Alfred E. Dufour. Professor Dufour passed on August 19, 1954. The following year, Mrs. Dufour was appointed Hostess of The Citadel, a position she served in until 1973. In 1973, Mrs. Dufour received the Palmetto Award for her service to The Citadel.
