On November 19th 1852, The Association of Graduates and Ex Cadets was formed. In 1934 the name changed to The Association of Citadel Men. In 1997 the name changed to The Citadel Alumni Association, to be inclusive of all Citadel alumn, including the Graduate College, Evening College, and to reflect the coeducation of the Corps of Cadets.
